Back in the year 2015, Mitsubishi began a program to help first responders buy new Mitsubishi vehicles by offering them a rebate. This rebate was only available to first responders until 2020. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the automobile manufacturer has changed the definitions of the program so that more people can participate in the program, especially since hospital workers and other healthcare professionals have had to work so much harder since the Coronavirus outbreak began.
The First Responders program allows those working qualifying jobs to receive a $500 rebate on the purchase of a new Mitsubishi vehicle. Refer to the following section to find out if your job qualifies for the program.
At first, the program extended only to a strict definition of who a first responder is. That list looked like the following before the change:

As you can tell, the added professions relate to those who have been on the medical frontlines in helping those hospitalized by the pandemic. By including these professions in the First Responders program, Mitsubishi is showing its thanks for those who have sacrificed so much to help keep everyone else safe and healthy.
Since the First Responders program applies only to new vehicle purchases, here is a list of vehicles usually in stock at the dealership. Although inventory varies, the following models are available most of the time.
