Mitsubishi chose to kick off the 2021 model year by releasing the next Mitsubishi RVR before any other CUV or SUV. The 2021 RVR does not receive a redesign, but it does get a revised list of standard features and a little shakeup to the trim level list. On the outside, the RVR looks much like it had in 2020, but the inclusion of new features makes it feel different, especially at the lower trims.
With technology rapidly advancing, the features you will see taking on the most changes are the infotainment system and safety technology. Otherwise, the front, sides and back all look just as distinctly Mitsubishi as they did last model year. There are eight exterior colors and five total trim levels if you don’t count the difference between Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) and All-Wheel Control (AWC) as deserving a new trim name. Review the chart below to get familiar with the available powertrain, safety, and interior features you can expect from this vehicle.

The Mitsubishi RVR has a lot of features worth enjoying, and that’s just counting the standard ones. While there is more to be had on higher trims, Mitsubishi does a great job of staying focused on what’s most important. The emphasis remains on safety, but that is far from its only high point. A great warranty and a low price combined with an award-winning Mitsubishi AWC make an SUV that is hard to ignore. Its size makes it ideal for young families, especially for those who want to be able to go on an adventure here and there and put the AWC to the test.
